aid before paying for it. I’ve recommended GHAC several times already. They’re very honest. In fact, one of the
people who I recommended them to…they went and got a hearing test, and they (GHAC) told them they didn’t need a
hearing aid. “The first time I took my father to Nancy at Gulf Hearing Aid, I was impressed by the amount of time she spent with me and my mother to help us understand what it’s like for a person with hearing loss…how my father may hear a noise but not be able to tell where it came from. She really empathizes with what it’s like to become elderly and hard of hearing, and that comes across in how she treats people. They’re also very honest. My Dad was up in New York and something went wrong with his hearing aids. He took it to someone there, and they were going to charge him $600 to fix it. So I had him mail it to me, and I took it to Gulf Hearing Aid Center. Nancy said it was still under warranty, so she fixed it for free. And just very recently, I went to my parents’ house. I was knocking and ringing the doorbell, but they didn’t
answer. I finally called them, and they picked up the phone. They had been watching television in separate rooms.
The TV was up so loud, they couldn’t hear me at the door. So I called Nancy and explained what had happened. She
recommended a tv listening device so that my parents wouldn’t have to turn the television up so loud and so that
they could still hear other noises. It’s just another example of how she’s helped us all through this difficult
time.” “My husband had wanted me to get my hearing tested, so I called the hospital for a referral. I don’t think they normally do this, but one of the girls there knew of Gulf Hearing Aid Center and said it was a small place and she thought I’d feel comfortable there. They were right. They (GHAC) were so courteous and polite and nice. They in no way made me feel pressured or uncomfortable.
